Ren Ci Hospital & Medicare Centre was established in 1994 as a non-profit voluntary welfare organisation. It looks after chronic sick patients suffering from severe physical disabilities, long term and terminal illnesses. It currently provides home medical and nursing care to homebound residents within the area of North-West Community Development Council's jurisdiction. A 277-bedded community hospital is being built and expected to be ready in 2008. A traditional chinese medicine (TCM) clinic and outpatient clinics will be part of the hospital which will be located near the Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH).
